Disciple Driven Church

We exist to facilitate reformation by launching disciple making movements across America.

Mixing Unbelievers in the Worship Service.

John 4:24 declares that we must worship the Father in Spirit and in truth.

2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?

People that have not yet received Christ as their savior do not possess the Spirit of God. If worship requires the Spirit, then they are unable to offer worship to the Father. We are also clearly warned not to have fellowship with unbelievers. The common practice of the church today is to invite unbelievers into the worship services. This is contrary to the clear teaching of Scripture and is a product of the traditions of men.

Under the Law, no one outside the covenant could enter the Temple. After Christ returns no one outside the New Covenant will be allowed into heaven. There is no Biblical basis for thinking that in this age, unbelievers should be allowed in the worship gathering. The biblical support of the practice of inviting unbelievers to church as an evangelistic tool is weak at best. The historical support of the practice prior to the Edict of Milan is even weaker.

It is the disciples job to share the faith, lead the lost to Christ, teach them the elementary things, and then bring them to worship where through baptism they can be united in the Holy Spirit to a fellowship that is based in our common unity of the Spirit. It is because of the decline of many Biblical principles and practices that we now rely on inviting unbelievers into church in order to share our faith.
